Technology, the Internet, social networking, and new and emerging technologies and systems can be powerful forces for positive social and economic change.

RootSpace is working to foster and support a community of people who are working to apply, adapt, and innovate ICT for positive change in Lebanon, the Arab region, and the world.

We currently have two efforts related to this:

• Social Media Exchange
• an emerging discussion and workgroup for web mashups for social change

Other projects and efforts are in the early phase, and will be made public later.
