RootSpace Programs!
The PROGRAMS: While this space is largely set up to help individuals and small groups do their own work better, RootSpace also organizes a variety of programs itself.
RootSpace programs include:
• the Ma’an Project for Social Entrepreneurship (including training and incubation);
• Social Media Exchange (a tech and Web 2.0 training program for civil society organizations in Lebanon);
• NGO-Online (to provide web, technology, and organizational development training to help Lebanese NGOs get online, strategize a web presence, and improve business/organizational practices in order to help them improve their work and better achieve their objectives);
• web/tech/social entrepreneurship contests; and
• programs to support the development of a local RootSpace community of skilled and ambitious people by regularly hosting trainings, meetings, and workshops with a focus on entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, social responsibility, technology, social empowerment, connecting with international networks and organizations that could help these efforts, and more.
