February 16, 2009 by RootSpaceOnline

I haven't gotten a chance to play around with it much, but I will soon... for now, check it out for yourself (http://dr.aub.edu.lb/).

Info below from the AUB Bulletin Board announcing the launch...

The Academic Computing Center is very happy to announce the launching of the ACC Digital Repository (DR) , a server holding a wide range of digital content that can be used for education!

The ACC Digital Repository (DR)

ACC created this project to foster innovation in teaching and learning and to enable collaboration, communication and free sharing of information within the AUB community and the world. The material can be accessed directly from the DR or through Moodle to become part of your course package.

The ACC DR includes:

The ACC Digital Material is where AUB's teaching and learning material of various types is stored and can be searched and retrieved for later use.

The Other AUB Digital Repositories is a database that provides access to other AUB repositories such as the Digitized collections of the University Libraries and the Medicine Repository.

The External Digital Repositories is where we share with you links to some of the best resources in the world, such as full courses, stand-alone learning objects and image databases.

The ACC DR was created by ACC for all of you to use and contribute to. Your collaboration is encouraged and much appreciated so please feel free to start uploading your digital material! We have provided you with step-by-step instructions on how to upload your material and we would be more than happy to assist you with any questions or concerns.

Let's all start sharing and preserving AUB's intellectual capital!!
