The poll station at Kernayel, Metn, has been emerging with citizens since early this morning. Lebanese citizens of all ages have been spotted all around the poll station wearing colours of their preferred political parties, and unjustly handing out candidate lists.
Like all other poll stations around Lebanon, the voting process has been deemed slower than expected. A middle-aged woman was said to be screaming and complaining for waiting up to two hours before being allowed to vote. Elderly citizens were seated on the sides of the poll stations, waiting tirelessly for their turn.
While many citizens were giving up and leaving the station, a young woman carrying her three-year-old son, refused to give in to her tired body and waited up to three hours to enter the voting booth.
